Master of Philosophy



The Master of Philosophy programme allows you to develop in-depth knowledge, expertise and skills through the application of research to business problems and issues. 

A Master’s degree allows you to master a specific area of professional practice, to solve complex problems, and to think critically, rigorously and independently.
 

Course Structure
The Master of Philosophy is a university-wide Masters By Research award administered by the Monash Research Graduate School. 

This degree requires you to undertake a program of supervised research, and to complete a major thesis with a maximum of 50,000 words. This thesis must make a contribution to the existing body of knowledge in information technology by applying, clarifying, or interpreting that knowledge.

  • Artificial intelligence
